Went to the American Embassy International School to visit Open Hand coffeehouse. A place after our own heart. We had a nice long cup of coffee with the director, Christiaan.
Habitat for Humanity was another organization worth gathering info about. It was started by Christians here and still continues as such with devotions at the beginning of each day with the other staff. This is certainly not just another social organization in India.
God works in so many ways through so many people, we are all just an important tiny piece of God's masterpiece.
Last stop-cheese and yogurt in Amsterdam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Travelling from Orissa to Andra Pradesh is how much of today was spent. The entirety of the trip was breathtaking as we drove among mountains, through tribal villages, in view of waterfalls, in absolute awe of the creative power of God.
As we near the end of our trip we are completing the tasks we came to do. Please continue to pray for us on the last leg of our journey. God is so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are all doing well on our second day here in Koraput. Although we began the day with uncertain plans, we ended up lacking nothing to do. We were introduced to a young pastor who has been doing ministry here for a number of years. He invited us to visit his church, which is not far from town. We were welcomed warmly by his some of his people with flowers and singing. We then visited a youth outreach that this pastor has done for years. Together with them we sang, read scripture, prayed and encouraged each other. It was a sweet time worshipping God with these Christians that we had only just met that day, unplanned by us.
Please pray that we finish well whatever remains for us to do here in India!!!!!!!!!!!

An Indian breakfast starts the day, followed by another crazy bus ride. Still not used to the way they drive. The bus takes us to Arjuna's Church where we were able to teach another session on Discipleship. Afterwards we ate with the Church. What fine people. What a privilege. Later we made contact with local missionaries who want to open a coffee house and are doing a beach festival outreach. Of all the people to run into. Wow, God is good!!!!!!!!!

The guys taught at another one of Arjuna's churches. It's wonderful to see how the people love the Lord here. Today we are heading to the church that Arjuna pastors. He has a team of pastors to fill in while he is traveling.
We're all doing well and leaving for another destination tomorrow. Remember...turn at cow corner!!!!!!!!

It's Sunday... We had a great day visiting other churches. There are not that many Christian churches around so we choose two and divided the team up. One was all foreigners located by the embassies and the others were all Indians located in a school nearby that we were able to walk to.
Later, we were wowed by the smells and tastes of the spice and tea shop.
Leaving Delhi tomorrow on to new ministries where the food is the spiciest in all of India, Tim is ready to make his forehead sweat!!!!

We are up and running here Delhi, India... We're all experiencing the shockingly wonderful sights, smells and sounds that make India India. For those on the team we've been here before, there's a familiarity and thankfulness that we're back. For the new people, there's a wide-eyed awe and expectation that this will be a wonderful experience.
And it has been a great experience. We spent the last couple days connecting with a couple new ministries in the area of Pahar Ganj, the neighborhood where teams have stayed for several trips. One of these ministries has been used greatly to rescue people from human trafficking as well as bring many to the kingdom. The second ministry we visited was a elementary school (not unlike Shofar), church and ministry training center. It was great to see and hear of God's work happening on the lives of these people - ordinary, sinful people changed and used by an extraordinary ands holy God.
As we continue to seek God's direction concerning our future in the area, please pray that we continue to hear his voice. We're ready to see what He has!!

After 8 long hours, we have officially made it to Amsterdam. We all have jet lag, but we are doing our best to stay awake. With that being said, today we have been drinking lots of coffee as we wander this beautiful city and try to get on the right sleep schedule.
Tomorrow we will have another 8 hour flight as we venture off to India. Amsterdam is a great place, but I think I can speak for all of us when I say we are excited to get there.
Thanks for praying for us, and I hope you all continue to pray for us!
